How to decorate your Halloween dollhouse out of Clay
This year, for Halloween, I decided to make a miniature spooky dollhouse. I started with a small wooden castle from Michaels store, and I used my spooky wallpaper designs to decorate the walls. I also made clay miniatures for my spooky dollhouse.
When it comes to making miniature pumpkins out of clay, The process is actually quite simple. First, you take a small amount of clay and roll it into a ball. Then, you flatten the ball into a disc shape. Next, you take a small piece of clay and roll it into a thin rope. This will be the stem of your pumpkin.
To attach the stem, you simply press it into the center of the disc. Then, you begin to shape the clay into a pumpkin shape, using your fingers to smooth out the edges. Once you are happy with the shape, you can use a toothpick to make indentations on the surface of the pumpkin. These will be the pumpkin's "lines".
Finally, you bake the clay pumpkin in the oven at a low temperature until it is hard. Once it is cooled, your miniature pumpkin is ready to be displayed!
You can also use Air Dry Clay which is so easy and fun to work with and there is no baking in the process. these pumpkins can be used as decorations long after the holiday is over.
