As a new mom, it was challenging to find all the baby products beneficial and not a waste of money. Since I didn't have any experience, I purchased all the stuff for my baby girl based on the research that I've done and other's mom products review. but now I know precisely which of these items are necessities and which are not and which products were my absolute must-haves when Eva was a newborn

To best honest with you, it was a little bit pricey, but it helped us through those first months, and it turns out that we used this pacifier all the time! It was soothing for her, and she loved it.
2. Dock a tot
I learned about this product a lot, and I read about it. It was pricey, but I was the first mom and so excited to try it. On the other hand, I had no support through my postpartum journey. Therefore I decided to get this dock a tot considering everyone mentioned how magical this is! When you lay the baby in it, it gives a hug and comfort to your baby, and it mimics the womb area for them so they can rest better.
There are different versions of this item, such as "snuggle me organic."
In the first couple of weeks, you are so tired and sleep-deprived and you can't move a lot because you have pain. You need to sit on your couch or bed every day and feed your baby every couple hours, and this dock a tot can be your best friend because you want a place to put your baby down. At the same time, she/he sleeps between each feeding, and at night you can use it in the bed with you, especially if you end up co-sleep with your baby. It also fits into a bassinet, but in their product, they mentioned not to use it in bassinet or crib, so keep that in mind. I should say that it is only usable for newborns to 6 months, and the baby won't fit in it easily after six months.
3. Swaddle Blanket ( Posh Peanut or Aden+Anais)
let me tell you a secret! A great swaddle can help soothe your baby and get them better sleep, and yes, We used all kinds of swaddle for my baby. I purchased so many swaddles that didn't work for us for many reasons, but I found the one, and I am going to share it with you.
Velcro swaddles didn't work for us at all. My baby hated the sound of the Velcro, and it scared her every time.
Traditional swaddling was the best choice for us. These swaddles are large, thin blankets that you wrap baby up in like a little burrito. They can be used for many things after the swaddling phase, like blankets and burp cloths.
Aden + Anais' soft, swaddles were the best. They are large, and they can be used well beyond the "swaddling phase. They are breathable, lightweight blankets, and the great thing is that you can use them as a nursing cover, burp cloth, play mat and can be thrown over a stroller or car seat to provide shade. Better yet, they have so many cute prints that you can match with your nursery.
Posh peanut swaddle blanket are my favorite. I love these blankets so much! I have two of them. They are the perfect size for swaddling and they stretch so my baby can still move around while staying swaddled. I used them as a nursing cover while I am out!
We tried Halo Sleep Sack as well. They zip from the bottom, which makes diaper change quick. Unlike typical swaddles, this sleep sack style is looser around the legs and provides more options for securing your baby's arms. (You can even leave arms out and fasten the wings around their waist, so It helps the transition out of swaddles much easier. Baby legs will be inside a zippered pouch, so it helps them feel secure as they transition. Sadly the only thing that I didn't like about it was the Velcro wrap.
4. boppy newborn lounger
Ok, let me tell you about the boppy lounger. The baby should not sleep in it. It is a super cozy, comfortable lounge and baby lay in it, and you can relax next to her/him.
5. Footed Zipper onesie & Footless Zipper onesie
Oh I LOVE LOVE LOVE zipper onesie
they are the best. They are cozy. It covers their feet, keeps them warm at night, and it is so much easier than the onesies that go over the baby's head, or has a button. Imagine you are tired in the middle of the night, baby screaming and need to be fed, and you need to change the onesie because she pooped all through it. Believe me, girl, zipper onesie is just so fast and saves time and energy.
6. Burp Cloth
Throw it over your shoulder, or you can put it on her like a bib. We have several of these, and I keep them everywhere! I have them in my bag, in her room, in my bed, in my car! they are must-haves and extremely helpful. I think you should use these over thin cloth because these are long-lasting. The liquids don't get through them, and they are so thick.
7. Water Wipe
Baby skin is so sensitive and delicate. So we don't want to use chemicals on them. You know how many times you must change diapers for 24 hours! Yes, at least ten times! They are poop machines. Water wipes have been fantastic, I got them at amazon.
8. Amazon prime is must have
The first couple of weeks, when we brought Eva home, they were so many things that we realized we need, and getting those in just two days was a lifesaver and very helpful for my husband and I.
it is incredible how much we use amazon.
9. Changing Pad liners
I assume you can put it on top of your changing pad. However, the excellent point is that you can also take it with you and use them in the car when you change baby or when you are in the public restroom.
10. Skip hop bath
11. skip hop fall rinser
must-have for bath time. you fill it with water, and when you want to rinse baby head you put the yellow section on top of the head you pour the water, and it blocks the water from going into baby's forehead
12. Swing by fisher price
The baby gets to swing back and forth, and it is helpful to keep the baby busy.
We didn't use it the first month, but when she started crying and screaming due to the colic, it helped us and calmed her.
